Conveniently located near skiing, hiking, golf, tennis, and Banner Elk’s shops and dining. **4WD or AWD is highly recommended in the winter up on Beech Mountain and for this property's driveway area which is gravel and the lower portion is gravel to grass. Beech Mountain Club ***Guests with a reservation at Thistle Do Nicely are eligible to apply for a membership transfer to the Beech Mountain Club (BMC) for the dates of the reservation. BMC policies apply to a membership transfer. Please read the policy document carefully. Upon booking, guests will receive an email with instructions, the BMC transfer policies, and the transfer application. The application must be submitted to the club by the guest at least 3 days prior to the transfer start date, which can be no sooner than your arrival date. Please note BMC Policy 4a. : owners membership is limited to two transfers per month based on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible. CCR is unable to inform inquiring guests if two transfers are already accepted in a calendar month. Guests will need to contact BMC for information. A membership transfer fee starting at $300 is charged to the guest by BMC upon the start date of the membership transfer. Memberships start at the social level. Guests may upgrade membership with additional fees paid to BMC (see the BMC website for what is included with each level).
